You NEED To Hear Miley Cyrus' Epic Covers At Her Rockstar Glastonbury Performance
Wowza, Miley Cyrus has solidified herself as a ~rockstar~ with an epic Glastonbury set that will have fans talking for years.
The Hannah Montana veteran took to the stage at the UK’s biggest music festival over the weekend to perform her latest tracks, but also surprised the audience with some stellar covers and special guests.
Dressed as her Black Mirror alter-ego, Ashley O, she performed Nine Inch Nails’ 'Head Like A Hole' and her remake, 'On a Roll'. But a speedy costume change into shiny black patent vinyl pants, a custom Gucci Glastonbury belt, and cropped singlet, transformed her on-stage persona into something completely new.
Miley brought out her pa, Billy Ray Cyrus, and his pal Lil Nas X to sing their recent hit 'Old Town Road,' with a special appearance from guitar-god/producer Mark Ronson, who she collaborated with for 'Nothing Breaks Like A Heart'.
Following their performance, the duo gave a brief rendition of Amy Winehouse’s “Back To Black” (which Ronson produced way back when) and tbh, the Internet needs to hear more:
Miley's set also featured covers of Led Zeppelin’s 'Black Dog' and Metallica’s 'Nothing Else Matters', proving that straight up country-lass Miley is no longer alive.
We’re loving the metal-rock era Miley has launched herself into. From throwing her hair back and forth to writhing on the ground, the new Miley is one we don’t wanna mess with.
Honestly, when can we expect a full rock album?
