YouTuber Bretman Rock Announces Split From Boyfriend, Tells Fans To Look Up ‘Single Again’ On Spotify

YouTuber Bretman Rock today announced his breakup by telling his fans to look up Big Sean’s song ‘Single Again’ on Spotify.

YouTuber Bretman Rock announced his break-up today by telling his fans to look up Big Sean’s song ‘Single Again’ on Spotify.

“Girl I got something to tell y’all…..” he wrote on Twitter. In a second tweet, he added: “Lol go to spotify… look up Big Sean and then title of the 5th song suggested.” When searching 'Big Sean', the fifth song down on the 'Popular' list is "Single Again".

Throughout their entire relationship, Bretman was secretive about his boyfriend’s identity, never once revealing his face or name. In a video posted to his YouTube channel back in April, Bretman said of his now-ex: “He doesn’t care for social media, which I love.”

The boyfriend had added: “I just don’t believe that’s one of the things that makes our relationship. It never has been.”

Bretman continued: “Something I always told him from the get go was, ‘You’re not dating Bretman Rock. You’re dating Bretman.’ …it is an extension of me. It is weird, but at the same time, it works for us. He just gets it. Like, this is my work, this is my job. This is not who I am. This is not who’s dating.” The couple admitted in the video they'd first met at a shopping centre. So lowkey!

Given the global pandemic and all, Bretman's not had much to keep him distracted from the split. While he's been stuck inside (unlike other TikTok and YouTuber stars like James Charles, Tana Mongeau and Charli and Dixie D’Amelio who broke social distancing rules to party it up), Bretman's tried his best to keep busy, namely by filming YouTube videos about.. indoor plants. Abiding by the rules in the most wholesome way possible? We're so here for that.
