Cheryl Cole Claps Back At "Nasty" Rumours About Her Split From Liam Payne
No ones messes with Cheryl Cole, or her mam, OKAY!?
Yesterday, the Girls Aloud singer and her baby daddy Liam Payne announced they were splitting up after two-and-a-half years together.
While multiple reports stated it was an amicable split and the former couple would share custody of their one-year-old son, Bear, others claimed that Cheryl's mother Joan Callaghan drove a wedge between the pair and forced them to split.
"I hate responding to stuff esp at such difficult times but I cannot sit here and listen to such nasty, false article regarding my mam," Cheryl tweeted earlier this morning.
"I don't kno why they involve her in stories about me. I can assure you she has absolutely nothing to do with any of it. I am a grown woman who is capable of dealing with my own life. She is a soft and kind woman who doesn't deserve to be dragged into something that has nothing whatsoever to do with her."
