The Internet. A place where you could learn about the entire history of the Roman Empire, where you could read the collective works of James Joyce or you could become an expert on pretty much any topic of your choosing. But how do we all take advantage of this extraordinary opportunity? We sit back, relax, and watch pop stars chat s**t about each other on social media, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s just so much fun.

We've had Sleaford Mods (have you heard their brilliant new single ‘TCR’?) vs MTV Push act Blossoms. There was Louis Tomlinson v Zayn Malik “remember when you had a life and stopped making bitchy comments about mine?” We even had Die Antwoord v Lady Gaga “i fink u freaky but you don't have a hit.”

But the latest (and surely not the last) of these rows is Zara Larsson v Chris Brown.

The ‘Lush Life’ singer isn’t Chris Brown’s biggest fan (for a lot of valid reasons). How do we know this? Well, earlier this year, Zara dropped a subtle hint. A very subtle hint. Taking to Twitter, she wrote: “Chris Brown is TRAAASSHHHHH”.

But now, in a bizarre turn, when one of Zara’s fans was defending the singer on Instagram, the actual Chris Brown jumped in to contribute some eloquent criticism.
 

Commenting on the fan’s post, Brown said “She WACK!” before dropping the greatest (or worst?) Instragram comment of 2016: “stinky butt”.

If you’ve been wondering what Chris Brown does in his downtime, now you have your answer: he comments “stinky butt” on people’s Instagram accounts. That’s what Chris Brown does to kill time. Yes, this is real life.

Stinky. Butt.

Just let that sink in for a minute.
