Good News: blink-182’s Travis Barker Says The Band’s Dropping New Music Real Soon & 'It’s Incredible'

We're so ready.

blink-182 is on the brink of releasing a new track from its long-awaited EP, says band member Travis Barker. In a chat with artist jxdn for yours truly, the drummer said, “There’s a song called 'Quarantine' that’s gonna come out really, really soon. It’ll be a Blink favourite. It’ll be like all our fan favourites. It’s incredible.”

Travis also said another track would soon be dropped – an "amazing" collaboration with the late rapper Juice Wrld. He added that he was stoked there was going to be “more Juice music that’s gonna be released”.

As for what else we know about Blink's ninth album so far, back in August 2019, band member Mark Hoppus said it would feature Lil Uzi Vert and Pharrell Williams, and earlier this month, Goldfinger frontman/producer John Feldmann said the band had been “getting in touch with their roots” during their latest recording sessions. “The songs we have been working on have been super classic Blink and I can’t be more excited,” he told RockSound.

No word yet on whether or not former bandmate Tom DeLonge will join Travis, Mark and his replacee Matt Skiba on a track or two. Tom previous told Rolling Stone “of course” he’d play with the band again when the timing was right.
