Emily Ratajkowski & Amy Schumer Were Arrested At A Protest Against Brett Kavanaugh

...

Emily Ratajkowski and Amy Schumer aren't afraid to stand up for what they believe, even if it means a brush with law.

Emily took to social media earlier this morning to tell her 19.8 million followers that she was arrested at a protest against the Supreme Court nomination of Brett Kavanaugh.

"Today I was arrested protesting the Supreme Court nomination of Brett Kavanaugh, a man who has been accused by multiple owmn of sexual assault. Men who hurt women can no longer be placed in positions of power," she captioned a photo of herself at the protest holding a sign which reads: "Respect female existence or expect our resistance."

Emily was arrested alongside actress Amy Schumer, who earlier took to Twitter to give a fan's daughter a shoutout, where she mentioned a potential arrest.

ICYMI, earlier this year Brett Kavanaugh was nominated by President Donald Trump to replace the retiring Associate Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy, but during the confirmation process he was accused by multiple women of sexual assault.

An FBI investigation has been ordered to look into the allegations against Kavanaugh, but as more women come forward, he continues to deny having any part of it.

Our thoughts go out to the victims, and we hope all women's voices are being heard loud and clear.
