All The Most Fabulous Looks From The 2021 Primetime Emmy Awards

I didn't realise how much I had missed red carpets until this day.

Look. The 2020 Primetime Emmy Awardsvirtual red carpet definitely gave us some iconic stay-at-home looks. Celebs were forced to get creative, and we were able to peek inside their homes while checking out their incredible outfits.

But there’s nothing like an IRL red carpet. As we saw recently with the VMAs, celebrities being cooped up inside for an extended period of time means they all the way out.

As the 2021 Primetime Emmy Awards take place in LA, we’re at home in our lockdown pyjamas, drooling over some of these looks.

Here are all the red carpet looks we have deemed particularly fabulous and noteworthy.

Samira Wiley

Petition to change the name of the Emmy Awards to International Day of Queers Looking Hot As? Samira looks absolutely iconic.

Gillian Anderson

Gillian, please. My gay heart can’t take much more.

The cast of ‘Schitt’s Creek’

This colourblocking moment is just another reason why I’m desperate to join this family. I don’t care if they’re (mostly) fictional.

Elizabeth Olsen

All eyes are on Ms. Olsen today, as fans hope she scores a win for her incredible work in WandaVision. Obviously, she looks utterly magical.

Jennifer Coolidge

I attribute a lot of my gayness to Jennifer Coolidge and her many MILF roles from the early 2000s.

Aidy Bryant

Concept: If Taylor Swift’s album folklore was an outfit.

Jason Sudeikis and Bo Burnham

It’s two hot lovely men in velvet suits. What a time to be alive.

Anna Taylor-Joy

The queen is out here giving us literal sunshine.

Kathryn Hahn

Okay look. At first, we were confused. But then we remembered how gigantic belts were the peak of fashion in the early 2000s. And as we all know, early 2000s fashion is absolutely back.

Sarah Paulson

Sarah Paulson is my dream girl, and this look has made me even more gay.

Nicole Byer

The sheer drama of this look! We adore Nicole and we adore this dress.

Carl Clemons-Hopkins

Yes!! My non-binary heart is melting for Carl. They’ve rocked up looking stunning, literally draped with the colours of the non-binary flag. That is some A+ representation right there.

Amy Poehler

Amy Poehler is television’s leading lady. She’s snatched an Emmy win herself, with over 20 nominations under her belt. Here she is looking stunning, as per usual.

Bowen Yang

BOWEN. YANG. Sorry, but where can I get a pair of these shoes in every single colour?

Angela Bassett

Angela Bassett is a literal icon and this pink ruffle moment is here to remind you.

Billy Porter

We were waiting for Billy to arrive, and of course he didn’t disappoint.

RuPaul’s Drag Race family

Here we have Michelle Visage, RuPaul, Gottmik and Symone looking fabulous as always.

Michaela Coel

Michaela Coel better win a damn Emmy tonight. Either way, this bright yellow outfit is absolutely stunning.

Mj Rodriguez

Mj has made history as the first first trans woman to be nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. She’s arrived on the red carpet looking like she’s ready for that win.

Uzo Aduba

Uzo is also nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. Here she is in a stunning hot pink look.

Tracee Ellis Ross

Tracee Ellis Ross has already served us an iconic outfit this week, so this is just the icing on the cake.

Kenan Thompson

Obsessed with this pink tuxedo from the SNL alumnus.

Cynthia Erivo

Okay, this has to be my absolute favourite look of the night.
