Apparently Celebs Are Avoiding Ryan Seacrest On The Oscars Red Carpet

The E! host has been accused of sexual harassment.

E! presenter and long time red carpet correspondent Ryan Seacrest is supposed to be interviewing all the biggest celebs on the 2018 Academy Awards red carpet - but so far he's been majorly snubbed.

So far he's interviewed drastically less stars than previous years - including Allison Janney, Christopher Plummer and Tiffany Haddish - and other Oscars attendees are speculating whether he's being avoided on purpose due to his recent sexual harrassment allegations.

The radio and television host has adamantly denied allegations of sexual misconduct between 2007 and 2013 from his former stylist, to which he explained he was being "extorted" and there was a lengthy investigation where his name was cleared.

"Sadly, last fall I became one of the accused, which I promptly revealed pro-actively to the network involved and to the public," Seacrest told The Hollywood Reporter. "And to be equally clear, those accusations were then investigated by an independent third-party over the course of a two-month process and involved dozens of interviews that included me, the accuser and countless others. Ultimately, my name was cleared."

However many are not buying it, and were calling for Seacrest to not host the red carpet interviews considering the Time's Up and #MeToo movements. E! subsequently told Variety leading up to the broadcast that they supported him and, "Of course he is."

E! also denied that this year's red carpet delay was not to protect and on air slip ups.

But Taraji P. Henson manged to throw in some major shade when she said to Ryan, "The universe has a way of taking care of the good people, you know what I mean?" before pinching his chin.

Hmmmm....even though not a lot was said on the red carpet this year, snubbing Seacrest might have made the biggest noise of the night.
