It goes without saying that the much anticipated movie adaptation of Cats was received with lukewarm (milk) reviews. And look that's probably putting it lightly.

Egos aside it would appear that some of the film's stars have come to a place where they're quite comfortable making fun of the whole debacle. Because if you can't laugh you might just cry forever.

At the 92nd Academy Awards, Rebel Wilson and James Corden appeared on stage to present the Oscar for Best Visual Effects. The pair were dressed resplendent in cat suits. Me-ow.

“As cast members of the motion picture Cats, nobody more than us understands the importance of good visual effects,” they said seemingly poking fun at the widely panned visuals in Cats. Lol.

Not everyone can be winners and you're not always going to be the cat that got the cream/award. But hey that's life.

Let's just hope the entire Cats cast can be selected as the Jellicle choice and forget this mess ever happened.
