Ryan Reynolds could soon be swapping his Deadpool mask out for a shocked face, with reports he could be starring in a remake of the 1990 classic Home Alone.

According to Deadline, Fox is revising the Macauley Culkin breakout film, giving it an R rating and a new name: Stoned Alone.

Ryan Reynolds is apparently attached to produce and potentially star in Stoned Alone, which is centered around a "twenty-something weed growing loser who misses the plane for his holiday ski trip."

"He makes the best of things by getting high. Paranoia sets in and he believes he hears someone break into his house. Turns out thieves have broken in. Fully stoned and fuelled by paranoia, he tries to thwart the thieves and defend his castle."

Okay...so kinda like the original, but with drugs and no Macauley Culkin?
