Like a gift from the gods, Disney announced last week that a live action remake of Hercules is in the works. 

With the film being an undisputed childhood classic you best believe the people already have some damn strong opinions about a dream cast. 

And like the thirsty thirsty hive that is the world wide web, the internet has spoken and are already demanding that the internet's OG boyfriend Zac Efron step up to his rightful place as the golden god. 

People are seriously spiralling over the news and the list of a dream cast just keeps on coming. 

Ariana Grande also stoked the fire when she performed an angelic version of “I won’t say im in love” during a special performance on The Disney Family Singalong. 

The songs an undisputed bop and Ari obvi knocked it outta the park literally causing people to start a change.org petition for her to play Megara. 2020 is wild y’all. 

And they aint stopping there. The list of predictions just keeps on coming and we are HERE FOR IT!!!!!!

According to the Hollywood Reporter the film is still in very early stages of development, so we aren't likely to get a confirmed cast anytime soon. But with the Russo brothers attached to produce the film - FYI they're the genius behind the Avengers movies - so guranteed it's going to be EPIC!!!!!!!!

And the good news is, if Zac Efron takes on the role he won't have to do too much training. The pecs are already firing off.
