Ross Butler Denies Involvement In Bizarre Murder Plot With Courtney Love

...

Remember when 13 Reasons Why babe Ross Butler was involved in an attempted murder lawsuit filed by Frances Bean Cobain's ex-husband Isaiah Silva!?

Yeah, we didn't believe it either.

According to TMZ, Isaiah sued Courtney Love claiming she entered into a conspiracy with several other people to break into his home, beat him up, kidnap him, and try to murder him so they could steal Kurt Cobain's guitar from his iconic MTV Unplugged performance. The guitar was gifted to him by Frances Bean.

He also sued John Nazarian, musical Michael Schenk, and you guessed it...Ross Butler.

Isaiah claims that on June 3rd, Sam Lutfi - who also happens to be Britney Spears' ex-manager - along with two other men, broke into his home and robbed, sexually battered, kidnapped and attempted to murder him. According to Isaiah, Lutfi was providing Courtney and Frances with illegal drugs including "illicit benzodiazepines," and Ross Butler "acted as a courier for illicit drugs supplied to Love and her daughter" but couldn't be questioned by police "because he fled to Canada."

We spoke exclusively to Courtney Love following the allegations, and she responded saying the lawsuit was "baseless and nonsense."

Now, The Blast is reporting that in new documents Ross is denying all involvement and saying that he and Sam Lufti went to Isaiah's house to check on him following "some troubling text messages," Lufti had received from him and Frances.

“I then entered the house and was greeted calmly and amicably by Silva...Silva was frail, emaciated and had a terrible odor. The house was also messy and had a bad odor,” Ross said, according to the court documents.

He added that he had “no communications with Defendant Courtney Love Cobain at any time concerning the purported events.”

“I never entered into a conspiracy or otherwise agreed to commit any crime against Silva. I never conspired with anyone else to murder or kidnap Silva … or take possession of a guitar that Silva claims Ms. Cobain gave to him as a gift," Ross said in the documents, obtained by The Blast.

The next hearing for the case is scheduled for December 7.
