Hoo boy hold on to your hats folks because queens of the dance floor Missy Elliott and Madonna will be featuring on the upcoming all-star remix of Dua Lipa’s latest Future Nostalgia cut, "Levitating". The track will be remixed by DJ, The Blessed Madonna.

Lipa took to Twitter to make the announcement – in all caps too so you know she’s fairly stoked. “LEVITATING REMIXED BY THE BLESSED MADONNA FEATURING MY IDOLS MADONNA & MISSY ELLIOTT,” she wrote, before revealing the track is set to drop on Friday, 14th of August.

Missy Elliott retweeted Lipa’s tweet, as well as taking to her own Insta to voice her excitement at the upcoming collab, promising fans a fire remix.

The Blessed Madonna posted about the upcoming collab on her Instagram. “Dreams come true,” she wrote. “I got to make a record with the sweetest angels, Dua Lipa with Missy Elliott and Madonna.”

This will be the first release from The Blessed Madonna since she changed her name from The Black Madonna, citing her former moniker as “a point of controversy, confusion, pain and frustration that distracts from things that are a thousand times more important than any single word in that name.”

Released back in March, “Levitating” is one of 11 hits from Lipa’s ‘80s pop-inspired second studio album, Future Nostalgia.
