Ryan Gosling Remembers His Dog, George, And We're Not Crying You Are
Word of caution: we're about to talk about Ryan Gosling's beloved dog, George, who passed away in December last year. If you can't hold your tears back, we advise clicking away from this article.
Now that's out of the way: OUR HEARTS. OUR BROKEN HEARTS.
As previously said, Gosso's dog passed away in December at the age of 17. Yep, George lived to be 17 years old. Absolutely amazing.
Ryan Gosling was on the Ellen show earlier this week, coinciding with the release of Blade Runner 2049, and he spoke about his beloved pup.
“There was something about George where … I think he felt like being a dog was beneath him. He would not do tricks."
He continued, "If you wanted him to sit down, you had to sort of convince him it was in his best interest. Like, ‘Look, we’re gonna be in this car for about three hours, so if you want to sit down you might be more comfortable this way.’ Then he might consider it.”
My god, George was all of us. May he be the best of boys forever and always.
