Today according to reports from The Hollywood Reporter, a Cruella de Vil live-action movie is in the works and the Oscar winning actress has been tipped as the hot favourite to play the lead role.

I, Tonya director Andrew Gunn has reportedly signed on to bring us this reimagining of the Disney classic 101 Dalmations.

Apparently the plotline will delve into the origin story of Cruella and will hopefully give us all some closure on why she was so mean to those cute doggies.

No word on production or release dates but you better believe we can smell the Oscar buzz for Emma Stone already.
