Over the weekend everyone's favourite guy, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, celebrated his 48th birthday. Considering her is such a well-liked fella in the Hollywood sect, it will come as no surprise that the celebrity messages came rolling in thick and fast.

WWE greats like Triple H, Mark Henry and Vince McMahon all remembered the good old days in the cage, while shouting out The Rock's big day. Ryan Reynolds Tweeted about how his friend went "through puberty in the womb" and Ellen DeGeneres thanked herself for being such a great influence over him.

But it was one special birthday video that really took the cake. Or The Rock cake, shall we say?

The Thunder From Down Under, Chris Hemsworth, used good old Aussie 'umour to pass on his well wishes. Specifically he put a candle on top of a rock, because, you know, THE ROCK.

"I just made a rock cake here. It just came out of the oven," he said. "Here's to you, happy birthday, mate." He also took the time to blow out the candle and make a wish on his behalf. We have no doubt his wish involved finally receiving a case of Dwayne's Teremana Tequila.

And while he's at it, we'll take a case too.
