Rihanna Just Dropped Her First Song In Three Years & It’s Worth The Wait
Rihanna is giving our isolation parties a new banger to hit the living room dancefloor – her new single with PARTYNEXTDOOR, ‘Believe It’.
Overnight, PARTYNEXTDOOR released his album PARTYMOBILE, featuring collabs with Drake, Bad Bunny and Rih.
It’s the first track Rihanna’s featured on since 2017, when she worked on Kendrick Lamar’s hit ‘Loyalty’ and released her own song ‘Lemon’ with N.E.R.D.
You better ‘believe it’ it’s been worth the three-year wait for this laidback R&B. Even though Rih nonchalantly repeats approximately six words on her behalf, we’re still in awe.
Plus, who can fault her! She’s been a literal lifesaver during this pandemic after offering US$700,000 to Barbados medical facilities to purchase ventilators for the seriously ill.
On top of that, she’s also helped out New York State with personal protective gear (assumedly face masks?) for healthcare workers.
According to the Independent, NYC is the epicentre of American COVID-19 cases, with over 20,000 confirmed cases. On March 25th, the city had more fatalities in the one day than US personnel in Afghanistan since 2016, with the death toll reaching 81 in the 24-hour period.
It’s fair to say Rihanna’s efforts are hugely appreciated.
Thank you, Queen Rihanna, for providing us with medical goods and good times during this period.
