Chris Hemsworth is no stranger to putting his body and mind through gruelling circumstances. We mean, just look at that Adonis body and you ~know~ he pushes some serious iron.

However, now he’s putting himself to the test all in the name of science.

In a new National Geographic docuseries called Limitless, Chris will explore different techniques that are meant to extend a human life.

Well we’ll be damned. Well done on choose Chris Hemsworth as the IRL guinea pig to live the longest – we are here for it!

According to Deadline, the six episodes will see Chris trek across the globe to test out regenerating damage, maximizing strength, building resilience, shocking the body, supercharging memory and confronting mortality.

There’s no word as to when we can expect it to hit our screens as production is yet to commence, but boy we will be watching and re-watching Chris trying to defy age.

We just hope it works and he lives forever. The human race deserves that.
