Donald Trump has joined the ranks of unfortunate leaders before him, tweeting just minutes ago that he and his wife, Melania Trump, have contracted coronavirus.
(Unless he’s trolling us, which.. isn't impossible.)
Trump's leadership in the coronavirus pandemic has been nothing short of disastrous; from incredibly dangerous suggestions that bleach could be injected in people's veins to combat the virus, to proof in Bob Woodward's new leaked tapes that he knew just how deadly the virus was all the way back in February, despite downplaying it publicly at that time.
Trump's mismanagement of the pandemic would prove fateful for the United States, who have had seen more than 200,000 people lost to the virus, and over 7 million infections.
The current case number for coronavirus sits globally at more than 34 million, with more than 1 million people having died from the virus around the world.
