There have been so many rumours about the state of Liam Payne and Cheryl’s relationship, and it seems that the speculation is not about to stop anytime soon. 

Despite them making a joke about their sex life at BRITs this week, and Cheryl’s tweets about the “weird” and “ludicrous” news reports about them being on the rocks, there’s still more speculation about the state of their relationship. 

According to The Sun, after Liam and Cheryl’s loved up appearance at the BRITs they didn’t actually go home together. 

“Despite their over-the-top show of affection they went their separate ways. Cheryl headed home to their family home, alone, and Liam spent the night at a dingy airport hotel,” a source tells the paper.

To be fair, Liam had a really good reason to go to the airport - he had a flight to catch to Miami the next day where he was due to film a new music video. 

And after a late night we can imagine Cheryl not wanting to be woken up super early in the morning by her boyfriend doing some frantic last-minute packing before heading off to Heathrow.
