BREAKING: Looks Like Gal Gadot Might Pull Out Of The Wonder Woman Sequel
In some awful news, it's being reported that Gal Gadot, the absolute star of the wildly successful Wonder Woman, is thinking about pulling out of the sequel for one very important reason.
According to Page Six, sources say that Gadot won't reprise her role as Diana Prince if film producer Brett Ratner is attached to the project. ICYMI, Ratner is one of the many men that have had sexual misconduct allegations against him.
“She’s tough and stands by her principles. She also knows the best way to hit people like Brett Ratner is in the wallet,” a source told Page Six. “She also knows that Warner Bros. has to side with her on this issue as it develops. They can’t have a movie rooted in women’s empowerment being part-financed by a man accused of sexual misconduct against women.”
Earlier this month, Warner Bros. had allegedly cut ties with the producer in wake of the allegations against him, which came from multiple women including actress Olivia Munn.
A Wonder Woman sequel would just not be the same without Gadot, and probably shouldn't happen at all if she's not in the main role, but you have to respect her for standing by her morals no matter what.
