Emma Stone Is A Goth Punk Boss In Her First Look As Cruella Di Vil
The first look at Emma Stone as the villainous Cruella Di Vil has been released and we are LIVING for this bad*ss punk rock reimagining.
Stone can be seen with Cruella's iconic red lip and two-toned hair, dressed in a goth-vibe getup that's pretty opposite to the opulent fur coat portrayals seen in the past.
The Oscar-winning actress is set to play the titular character in Cruella, following her life prior to 101 Dalmatians through 1970s London.
You mean to say we get to see where Cruella’s affinity with a dalmatian fur coat stems from? How she teamed up with her accomplices Jasper and Horace? What she was like as a youngster hitting the town in the big smoke living her best life yet?!
Emma Thompson, Paul Walter Hauser and Joel Fry are also set to join the cast, with the movie slated for a 2021 release.
This first taste was teased at Disney’s D23 Expo in Anaheim, California, along with the epic news of a Lizzie McGuire reboot that sees Hilary Duff’s character living through her 30s in New York City.
It is safe to say that we’re coming into a strong renaissance age of some of our Disney favourites and we’re both nervous and excited!
