Kristen Stewart Was Told Her PDA With Girlfriend Was Hurting Her Chances At Landing Big Movie Roles

...

It has been a tumultuous few years in Hollywood following the #MeToo movement. The good news is things are starting to change for the better including gender parity, safer work conditions and an increase in female-led story-telling.

Despite being on the up and up, there are still extremely frustrating situations happening behind closed doors and honestly this sh*t needs to stop.

In an interview with Harper's Bazaar UK, Kristen Stewart has opened up about a deeply troubling homophobic conversation she had with an industry insider.

"I have fully been told, “If you just like do yourself a favour, and don’t go out holding your girlfriend’s hand in public, you might get a Marvel movie,” she revealed. "I don’t want to work with people like that."

This is not ok. Damn we really want her to name and shame but we understand she wants to take the classy route. But she did have a clear message for the haters.

"There are people in the world who don’t like you, and they don’t like that you date girls, and they don’t like that you don’t identify as a quote unquote “lesbian”, but you also don’t identify as a quote unquote “hetero-sexual”. And people like to know stuff, so what the f*** are you?"

For the record Kristen's ability to make highly bankable movies has nothing to do with her sexuality. Period.

Kristen, you keep doing you and forget about these closed minded people. We don't wanna watch their movies anyway.
