Emma Stone Bows Out Of 'Little Women' Adaptation & Emma Watson Replaces Her

-

So Emma Stone has decided to bow out over one of the most hyped film productions of the year, and who should replace her but another Emma, specifically Emma Watson.

Yep, in the Greta Gerwig-directed adaptation of the classic novel Little Women, Emma Watson has reportedly stepped in to fill in the gap that Emma Stone left due to scheduling conflicts, accoring to Variety.

Specifically, Stone is unable to play the role because she'll be busy promoting a film called The Favourite, alongside Taylor Swift's boo Joe Alwyn, and ~industry peeps~ are already saying it's an Oscar favourite.

Interestingly, though, this might not be the first time these two Emma's have swapped places. Radiotimes reports that Emma Watson was actually rumoured to star in La La Land, but turned it down for Beauty & The Beast. Emma Stone eventually played the lead and the rest is history.

This Little Women adaptation is already earning major hype, because of it's f*ck off reported cast. Let's just list off some of the names that are allegedly in talks to star:

Emma Watson, Timothee Chalamet, Saoirse Ronan, Laura Dern and Meryl f*cking Streep.

Yep, get bloody keen friends. In the meantime, we'll be watching the 1994 version with WInona Ryder and Kirsten Dunst and crying on repeat.
