The Internet was collectively SHOOK earlier this week when an photo emerged of ~pop queen~ Taylor Swift and emo icon Marilyn Manson hanging out.

Apart from being worlds apart in musical genres, the pair look completely opposite in this photo. Taylor is *literally* wearing a bright pink coat and even brighter lipstick, and Marilyn is in his signature all-black ensemble.

The picture is receiving all sorts of reactions from Twitter fans, and we have just as many questions.

Did Taylor and Marilyn just bump into each other and pose for a cute pic? Was this an organised meet and greet? Is there some sort of strange collab on the way? Are these two the unlikely BFFs we need in our lives?
