Perrie Edwards is inspiring her fans to embrace their natural beauty, and her fans are feeling it. The Little Mix star has posted stunning makeup-free selfie showing her freckles and also the large scar on her stomach.

It’s not the first time we’ve seen Perrie’s scar, but in her caption she’s encouraged her fans to embrace any perceived imperfections that they might have: “Mermaids have freckles and scars too... embrace them. I think they’re beaut,” she said. 

It’s a big deal for Perrie to show her scar some love, as in the past she’s said it’s her least favourite body part: “Mine is my scar on my stomach,” she told Now magazine back in 2016. 

“When I was little, my oesophagus was too small, so I had to get it operated on to help me eat properly. I had to have lots of operations, so that’s why I don’t want to show it,” she explained.

Perrie’s fans are definitely into her message of body positivity, and several have commented about how inspired they feel by the singer’s picture. 

“And that’s why I love you, you teach young girls to embrace themselves as there are, many people in this generation who are scared and insecure about themselves, EVERYONE IS BEAUTIFUL 💘Love yourself xxx,” said one Instagram follower.

Another fan added: “Perrie you are my inspiration, I have no scar like that but you help me to be more me, accept me, thank you very much, I love you.” While a third person said: “She’s so beautiful scar and all.” 

We totally agree that Perrie looks 'beaut' in this picture and always.
