REPORTS: Selena Gomez Had A Panic Attack Prior To Her AMAs Performance Which Would Explain Some Things

-

Selena Gomez made her big comeback to the stage yesterday, making her first performance in two years at the 2019 American Music Awards. She performed her two new singles, 'Lose You To Love Me' and 'Look At Her Now', but the internet thought that the whole thing was a bit ~yikes~.

However, it's being reported by Billboard that, before she took the stage, the audio at the event's venue was playing up big time and Selena had no choice but to power through.

Doing a live run-through of the show, the website said that the press room was "having a hard time hearing anything with the volume turned way down on the monitors."

"Thankfully, the sound gets turned up for the very end of Gomez's triumphant return to the stage."

On top of the sound issues, it is also being reported by E! that Gomez suffered a major panic attack prior to taking the stage.

"Selena definitely had anxiety and a panic attack before she went out and was putting a lot of pressure on herself," a source told the website.

BUT the story doesn't end there.

If you put our Sherlock hats on and do some digging, we can actually find that some fans were allegedly trying to think of some excuses as to why Gomez was "off-key" during her performance.

So this could be a weird coincidence, or it could be some hardcore and quicksmart work by the Selenators around the world.

Either way, we will be streaming her new album once it drops early next year.
