WATCH: Lizzie McGuire Gets The Adult Storylines We Deserve In 'Leaked' Reboot Episode
Over the past few weeks the tea has been spilling over regarding the Lizzie McGuire reboot drama.
Tl;dr after production halted, Hilary Duff is now pleading with Disney+ to let them create the 'adult' series fans are desperately craving. It is now believed the much anticipated show will find a new home on Hulu, allowing storylines to not be stiffled by PG classifications.
"I'd be doing a disservice to everyone by limiting the realities of a 30 year old’s journey to live under the ceiling of a PG rating," she wrote in a statement posted to her Instagram. "It’s important to me that just as her experiences as a preteen/teenager navigating life were authentic, her next chapters are equally as real and relatable."
Well ask and ye shall receive.
Today comedian Benny Drama has released "leaked #LizzieMcGuire episodes that Disney passed on" and if you weren't ready to see little Lizzie all grown up, you might want to look away. The 60 second clip (with a promise for a full version coming soon) covers all the MA+ topics you'd expect to hear at a ~gals brunch~ including mentions of sex life, work, dating, and.....look, just watch.

Of course this all just a reimagining of what might have been going on behind closed doors creatively but damn do we hope this is the series we're going to get.
If Hulu doesn't pick this up now, they're sleeping on it.
