GOOD NEWS! Now you can book your Uber home BEFORE you go out and get legless with the app announcing it's introducing ride scheduling!

Not surprisingly, Scheduled Rides is the top-requested feature from Uber riders. Let's be honest, no one likes trying to book a last minute ride when your battery is on 1% and you're on the verge of a drunk vom.

"Even though we pride ourselves on providing on-demand rides, we totally get it. If you’ve got somewhere to be at a very specific time, it’s nice to have extra assurance that a ride will be available when you need it," an Uber spokesperson said.

"So whether it's a 4am trip to the airport or early morning meeting on a Monday, with just a few taps to the app, riders are able to schedule an Uber ride for as little as 15 minutes to as many as 30 days in advance.”

Particularly useful if you've got a plane to catch at some ungodly hour, or you just don't want to be a last minute Larry, it's safe to say Uber's Scheduled Rides is going to benefit us all! Oh, and it's as simple as selecting 'Schedule a Ride' and entering your pickup time, location and destination. You can also cancel scheduled rides and will recieve reminders 24 hours and 30 mins before your pickup. Nice.

Here's where you can use the new feature:

Brisbane: Merthyr, New Farm, Newstead and Teneriffe.
Melbourne: CBD and inner suburbs.
Perth: CBD, inner suburbs and Fremantle. 
Sydney: Eastern Suburbs and Inner West.
