While her hips don't lie, turns out the rest of Shakira might as she is reportedly facing several tax evasion accusations - a big no-no.

According to La Vanguardia, Spanish authorities have issued an investigation into the superstar after a complaint was made that she had unpaid taxes from her global income between 2011 - 2014, before she became a full tax resident of Spain in 2015.

The amount unpaid is reportedly somewhere near the tens of millions mark, and if found guilty, everyone's fav Colombian could be facing some serious prison time.

However, sources close to the singer say she has done nothing wrong and this is a technicality thing, but she's willing to face the "economic consequences of technical discrepancies with the inspection of Treasury...It is a difference of criterion, not of fiscal concealment."

We're unsure what that means entirely, but someone here is lying - and we know it's not her hips.
