When you're young and in love sometimes you do stupid things like get a tattoo of your wedding date after you've only known the guy six months. And then sometimes you break up with that guy and you're left with an empty tub of cookie dough ice-cream and a huge ink on your back.

Kaley Cuoco has found out the hard way that tattoo's are forever, when she hopped into a palour to replace her tattoo of roman numerals that marked the date she married tennis player Ryan Sweeting, with a giant butterfly.

She posted a pic to her Instagram (which has since been taken down) with the caption: "“Thank you @studiocitytattoo for helping me right my wrongs. Note to self: do not mark your body with any future wedding dates."

The 29-year-old also added the hashtags, '#under30mistakes' and '#donttakeyourselftooseriouslykids' just in case you didn't get the jist that she's in regretsville but totally chill about the whole ordeal.

So there are a few lessons to learn from this but we're sure she's already aware so we're not going to rub it in any more. The painful butterfly on her back is probably all the told-you-so's Kaley needs right now.
