Since the untimely demise of Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth's relationship, his family have been tight lipped on the breakup.

Camp Hemsworth have shown a unified front by moving forward with dignified silence, and obviously have continued to be extremely good looking. That fact has nothing to do with the story we're about to tell you but it must be said.

Anyway back to the matter at hand, because this juicy tale is far from over, after Miley's former sister-in-law, Elsa Pataky, has broken her silence and she is naaaaart mincing words.

In an interview with the Spanish publication Hola! magazine the 43-year-old actress gave an update on how Liam is coping since the split.

"My brother-in-law, well… after a relationship that you've dedicated ten years to, he's a little bit down, but he's coping well, he's a strong boy and he deserves the best," she said. "I think he deserves much better."

This certainly gives us an indication of how the 29-year-old has been dealing with Miley's much publicised new relationship with Aussie singer, Cody Simpson. 

They both recently unfollowed each other on Instagram, so for any #MIAM stans out there, we'd go ahead and cancel that membership.

One thing that is for sure, Miley likes to have the last word so we'll be waiting for her response to Elsa's interview in 3, 2, 1.........
