Kylie Jenner Tried To Trademark "Kylie", and Kylie Minogue Is Not Having It
As if Kylie Jenner didn't have literally everything in the world, she's now trying to trademark her name. Not her full name - her FIRST name, Kylie.
According to Daily Mail, the KUWTK star filed an application last year to trademark 'Kylie' for ‘entertainment in the nature of providing information by means of a global computer network in the fields of entertainment, fashion and pop culture’ - whatever that means.
Who cares - when the REAL news is that the (maybe) TRUE 'King Kylie', ~kween~ Kylie Minogue, is absolutely NOT OK with this going down. She's lawyered up and is taking on Kylizzle, opposing her request because she feels it will hurt her personal brand.
Daily Mail revealed contents of an Australian court document that states ‘Ms. Jenner is a secondary reality television personality who appeared on the television series 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' as a supporting character, to Ms. Jenner's half sisters, Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney Kardashian (i.e. the Kardashians). Ms. Jenner is active on social media where her photographic exhibitionism and controversial posts have drawn criticism from, e.g., the Disability Rights and African-American communities." OUCH. BURN. WOW.
We're not sure whose side to take on this, but one thing's for sure - we've written the word "Kylie" so much in this story it's starting to look wierd.
