Taika Waititi's WWII film Jojo Rabbit already boasts an A-list cast, including the likes of Scarlett Johansson.

But the kiwi director just confirmed rumours that your fave Pitch Perfect star Rebel Wilson is set to star in the flick too.

Taika took to Twitter earlier this morning to share the news: “Rebel Rebel Rebel Rebel Rebel Rebel! Sh*t just got surreal. @RebelWilson."

Rebel quickly replied to his tweet:

And shared her excitement with fans via Instagram:

"Am I excited to be working with New Zealand’s best comedy director and all-round legend @taikawaititi ? That would be a hard yes," she wrote.

"I’ve admired all his films! Also Scar Jo & Sam Rockwell.  Can’t wait to get to Prague."

In case you haven't heard, the movie follows a 10-year old boy who struggles to find his place in an "increasingly Fascist regime and turns to an imaginary friend when faced with the discovery that his mother is hiding a Jewish girl in their home."

According to Deadline, Rebel will play Fraulein Rahm, a brutish instructor in the Hitler Youth Camp.
