Julie Andrews Would Like Them To Hurry Up With Princess Diaries 3 Because Quite Frankly She's 'Getting Awfully Old'
The Queen of Genovia herself, Julie Andrews, just revealed that like all of us, she is totally down to make Princess Diaries 3 happen.
In an interview on US chat show The Talk, the 84-year-old Dame spilled the tea on what she knows about the potential movie.
“It’s long been talked about but nothing sort of been on my desk or anything like that,” Julie shared. “I think I would [do it]. I’m getting awfully old and crotchety.”
There has been no official greenlight just yet, but what we know for sure is that the bond between her and the OG princess of Genovia Anne Hathaway is still as strong as ever.
She let slip that she is all for a family reunion, saying “I’m not sure if it’s the right timing, but I think to work with Annie would be lovely again. And yeah, sure I would be up for it. I think we should wait if the script comes in just wait for that.”
And if that script hits the table, from what we can tell Anne would be totally down for this.
Last week she took us right back to 2001 when she jumped on the #pillowchallenge and challenged her character Mia Thermopolis.
And legit the girl doesnt look like she has aged a day!!!!!
So while we wait for confirmation of a third movie, in true regal style the Dame sent out some wise words for us to all live by while in isolation.
“Remember the love…Remember to be patient and kind. And we’re all frightened, everybody is scared and not sure when you can’t control something…so we’re all in it together, but I think because we’re all in it together, it means that we should respond to what we’re being asked to do,”
Thanks Queen!
