Apparently Emma Stone Got Secretly Married To Her BF While In Quarantine
With everyone in lockdown and life at a halt, the big ol’ celebrity wedding isn’t really on the cards anymore. But that didn’t phase our favourite red-headed cherub, Emma Stone, who apparently tied the knot to her fiancé, Dave McCary, a segment producer for ‘Saturday Night Live’, during lockdown.
Well, according to her super-sleuth fans, anyway.
Last week, Stone appeared on Reese Witherspoon’s YouTube channel to chat about handling anxiety during the Coronavirus pandemic, and fans noticed sumthin’ sumthin’ a little different.
Instead of the big pearl ring she’s previously been sporting on her engagement finger, there was a simple gold band glinting through the screen. Ah, ha! Public enemy no. 1 in the old did she or didn’t she? wedding saga.
Stone then added more fuel to the marriage fire later in the segment. A mental-health expert who also featured on the show made a joke to Stone about marrying an anxious man, and she quickly responded, “Thankfully, I didn’t do that.” Umm, HIIIII past tense. “DIDN’T?” Sprung, right?!
Well, while neither Stone or her fiancé-slash-husband have commented on the speculation, we think a gold wedding band and past/present tense slip-up is enough evidence for us. Besides, the duo were meant to get married in March, AKA two months ago, so what’s to say they didn’t just have a super cute at-home wedding with their dogs instead? Sounds very Emma Stone to us...
