After 49er's quarterback Colin Kaepernick was fired for his peaceful protest against police brutality, the organisation has received huge backlash from the public.

It looks like that is now causing organisers grief because apparently nobody wants to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

According to Us Weekly the NFL are struggling to find artists to perform alongside Maroon 5 as they do not want to be associated with them after their handling of Colin Kaepernick.

A source reports that Cardi B is a potential and has "been going back and forth" but despite that "it’s a no right now."

It looks like it might be a solo show from Maroon 5, although - do they have enough hits? Eeeek this could be an epic fail.
