Here's How Some Of Your Fave Celebs Celebrated Star Wars Day

-

In case you've spent the past couple of decades living in a galaxy far, far away, May the 4th is officially 'Star Wars Day' and we don't think we need to tell you why that is.

It's a holiday that has really gained momentum over the past few years, with more and more notable people getting actively involved in commemorating it. 2019 is no different, and a whole stack of celebs got in on the intergalactic fun as well.

Firstly, a whole bunch of the Star Wars franchise cast posted their tributes to the iconic saga. Billie Lourd, who plays Lietenant Connix and is the daughter of late legend Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia), posted a simple and touching tribute that both memorialised the day and her legendary mother as well.

She also posted a photo tributing Peter Mayhew, the actor who played Chewbacca who sadly passed earlier this week after suffering a heart attack.

Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) and John Boyega (Finn) also jumped in on the #MayThe4th fun.

Of course, the celebrations extended far outside those within the Star Wars universe too.

Hope you all had a wonderful #MayThe4th and remember...Episode V is the best. Don't @ us.
