Pete Davidson Walked Out On His Gig After 'Disrespectful' Comments Were Made About Ariana Grande

...

Pete Davidson walked out of his own show earlier this week after remarks were made about his highly publicised relationships with Ariana Grande and Kate Beckinsale.

The comedian was scheduled to go ahead with a performance at the Stress Factory Comedy Club in Connecticut on Monday evening but ditched the event at the last-minute following “disrespectful” comments made by the club owner.

An insider told People: “Pete asked him not to go out before him and he agreed, but then got up and did a seven-minute set that he ended with the sarcastic ‘don’t ask about Ariana or Kate.”

The 25-year-old immediately took to Instagram Stories to defend his reasons for leaving the venue: “Hey guys in Connecticut, I’m sorry that we had to leave the show before I got to go on.”

He continued: “The owner, Vinnie Brand, disrespected me and did something that I told him not to do,” before adding that he’d host a free show for ticket buyers: “Sorry again. This is not your fault.”

In a video published by TMZ, the club owner insisted that he would never “disrespect any comedian” and said that he was actually instructed by Pete’s team to warn the audience not to mention his personal life.

“Your security guy told me to say what I said,” he claimed. “And if you got that security guy, you should have fired your g—— security guy.”

This comes as Pete’s romance with Kate Beckinsale has reportedly ended after the couple are said to have found the long-distance element of their relationship too hard to maintain.
