Miley Cyrus Just Celebrated The Anniversary Of Her Liam Hemsworth Love Song ‘Malibu’ & 2020 Just Got Weirder

...

In a bizarre twist, Miley Cyrus took to insta this morning to commemorate the third anniversary of her song, "Malibu".

The 2017 smash hit and undisputed bop was inspired by the rekindled romance with her now ex, Liam Hemsworth, and how they picked up where they left off in their home in Malibu.

"3 YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF MALIBU," she captioned the post, which featured a hella cute montage of clips from the music video as well as a whole bunch of fan reaction videos.

And it ain't the first song she’s written about her ex. She seriously poured her heart out when she debuted her heartbreak anthem,'Slide Away' at the 2019 VMAS.  She legit had us all balling as she belted the ridiculously raw lyrics that detailed their devestating break up.

After years of an on-again, off-again relationship they pair finally called it quits in August last year. Their divorce was finalised in January.

Since the split, Miley was controversially linked to Brody Jenner’s ex-wife, Kaitlynn Carter Before getting cosy with another Aussie, Cody Simpson at the end of last year. Since then, the pair have been solid and seriously have no problem packin on the PDA. Oooofft.

Meanwhile, after just a few months of dating, Liam Hemsworth and his girlfriend, Gabriella Brooks might be dunzo. So ladies get in line.

Now while it’s pretty clear there is no chance of Liam and Miley getting back together, it’s kinda nice that she still has a whole bunch of love for a song that her fans just can’t get enough of. But the timing here is very interesting. Three years since a song was released doesn't feel like a huge anniversary but maybe Miley is feeling sentimental about her marriage? A relationship like that is sure to leave a big mark on you.

Either way we can't wait for her next banger.
