We haven't heard much from Amanda Bynes over the past few weeks which ultimately seems like a good thing.

Two months ago the 34-year-old caused concern after some erratic behaviour on social media when she posted a picture of a sonogram and included the caption, "Baby on board!"

A lawyer for the troubled actress has now come out with an update on her status, confirming she is in fact not expecting a child.

"Amanda is not pregnant," said David Esquibias speaking to E! News. "And she is sheltering in a safe location." It is unclear whether or not Amanda was ever pregnant. We guess they are choosing to keep those private details, private.

At the same time Amanda and her partner, Paul Michael, announced their engagement before calling it off and then posted pictures of the rings confirming they were back on. They have both been quiet on socials so we're not sure on the status of their relationship.

Back in early March it was reported that The Amanda Show star had been ordered to check in to a psychiatric ward after her parents met with a judge following some concerning behaviour. As it stands Amanda's parents are her legal conservators ever since she had a series of incidents due to drug abuse.

Whatever is going on behind closed doors we hope she is getting the help she needs right now. Thinking of you, queen.
