Pete Davidson Spills The Beans On The Breakdown Of His Relationships With Ariana Grande, Kaia Gerber & Kate Beckinsale

As usual, he’s holding nothing back.

There’s loose lipped, and then there’s Pete Davidson. These days, the Saturday Night Live comedian is famous for far more than his million-dollar jokes. Whether he intended them to or not, Pete’s string of very public relationships with famous women has catapulted him to global stardom – they’ve given him tons of comedic material and ignited worldwide curiosity around his perplexing allure. His brand of quiet, oddball confidence now even has its own name: BDE.

So yes, Pete’s got a lot of good stuff out of his flings with Kaia Gerber, Kate Beckinsale and Ariana Grande, and now he’s spilling the beans on what went down with each of his high-profile loves in a new interview with Charlamagne Tha God, despite previously declaring his distaste with sharing anything publicly about past relationships. Here’s Pete’s take on each of his former loves:

On dating and breaking up with model Kaia Gerber…

“We were dating for a few months and she’s very young and I’m fucking going through a lot. It was before I was going to rehab. And she has stuff going on. It’s just like, she should be having fun and shit. She shouldn’t have to worry about some dude who has issues and shit. She should be enjoying her work and all that other shit so it just wasn’t like the right place or the right time at all. Also, like, her parents [Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber] were really helpful and stuff so they’re all cool."

On why it didn’t work out with Kate Beckinsale…

"She was really understanding and cool," he said. "[It didn’t work out] because it wasn’t just the right time. I think I was going into another rehab. I must have a pattern. I wasn’t, like, right yet and she had a lot of acting and work to do. She’s like a superstar, so. It just didn’t work."

On Mac Miller’s death impacting his relationship with Ariana Grande…

”I totally got it [Ariana mourning him and calling Miller the love of her life] 'cause we were only together for a few months. She’d even tell you this. I was like, listen, 'I get it. Do whatever you gotta do. I’ll be here.' I literally said—I think I said, 'I'll be here until you don't want me to be here.' I pretty much knew it was around over after that. That was really horrible and I can't imagine what that shit is like. That shit is just terrible. All I do know is that she really loved the shit out of him and she wasn't putting on a show or anything. That was fucked up, and prayers to his family and all of his friends, still."
