Paris Hilton Had A Good 'Ol Yarn With Snooki On Her Podcast

“I went on the show to get free alcohol,” Snooki admitted about her time on 'Jersey Shore'.

This is the crossover to end all crossovers: early 2000s icons Paris Hilton and Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi have sat down for a yarn for Paris Hilton’s YouTube channel.

It makes sense these two would get along – they’re both reality stars known for wild partying and their unforgettable early 2000s looks. They’re both iconic, and if I was throwing a dinner party and could invite anyone, these two would be top of the list.

They talk about the wild world of being in the spotlight, ‘friends’ trying to profit off their fame, and what Snooki’s Jersey Shore journey was like from day one. They even play 'Fuck, Marry, Kill'.

Paris asks Snooki what it was like to suddenly receive so much media attention after Jersey Shore became a worldwide phenomenon.

It was fine, Snookie says, but only “up until 'friends' who start selling stories about me and selling pictures of me from high school like, smoking weed and stuff,” she said.

“I’m like ‘really? You’re trying to get a couple bucks?’"

“It was eye opening,” Snooki added, stating it helped her realise who her true friends were. Paris hard-relates, saying that it happens to most people who live a very public life.

On Snooki’s motivation to go on the show, she says, “I went on the show to get free alcohol.” Totally understandable.

“Going down the shore every single weekend – it’s a lot of money,” Snooki says. “You gotta rent a place and buy lots of drinks and all that – I was in college I literally had $20 to my name.”

She adds that it was always her dream to go on The Real World; and saw Jersey Shore as her version of that dream.

“I never knew it was going to be all these seasons and everyone was going to be obsessed with us, because we’re degenerates,” she adds, reflecting on how the show has become a cultural phenomenon, inspiring countless spin-offs, including the wildly popular Geordie Shore.

Paris then asks Snooki to play ‘Fuck, Marry, Kill’ with her Shore housemates.

Snooki refuses to fuck anybody, but decides to marry Pauly D because “he’s rich” and kill Vinnie because “he’s so annoying”. Fair.

When asked if she really wouldn’t fuck any of her castmates, she states, “they’re my brothers – it’s disgusting!”

“Even watching the show back and we’re all like hooking up with each other, I want to die,” she says.

They end the chat talking about the kids of the Jersey Shore housemates, of which there are many.

“My daughter Giovanna is best friends with Jenni’s daughter Melani and it's so crazy, if you look at them they look like mini Snooki and J-Woww’s,” Snooki states. We love these kids’ friendship so much.
