Best Boss Ever? Apparently Zac Efron & New GF Vanessa Valladares Were Set Up By Her Manager
A manager who sets you up with Zac Efron? Where do we sign up?
What’s something nice your manager has done for you lately? Shout you a coffee? Let you clock off early? How about set you up with Zac Efron?
Yep, apparently that’s how the 32-year-old actor met his new girlfriend, Vanessa Valladares, 25. “They were introduced by her a boss,” a source told WHO. Wild, right? “Oh hey Vanessa, I’d like you to meet Zac Efron.” Just like that. We know Vanessa used to work at the Byron Bay General Store (where her and Zac were spotted kissing) so we’re assuming it’s that boss. Boss by name and by nature, apparently.
As we all know, the two hit it off and ended up getting together. Word on the street is that Vanessa has since quit her job and moved in with Zac at Belongil Beach.
Zefron has been in Byron since around March. A source told The Daily Mail the actor cancelled his return flight to LA last month after his visa was extended from three months to a year. “He was only planning to fly home if he had to,” they said. “He didn’t really want to go back to America.” Fair.
This week, pics surfaced of the pair grabbing a bite at a café in Lennox Head and holding hands. A mate of theirs had told People mag this week: “Zac met Ness earlier in the summer. They started hanging out in July and recently took a ski trip together. You can tell that they are having fun. She spends a lot of time at his house.”
With an extended visa under Zac's belt, it looks like they'll be in Byron together a bit longer. But Zac was recently cast in a new film – a Disney+ remake of 1987 classic Three Men and a Baby – set to shoot in LA, so that may throw in a spanner in the works.
