James Charles Has Deadset Lost Over A Million Subscribers Following The Tati Westbrook Backlash
James Charles is really, really feeling the backlash of his fallout with Tati Westbrook, and now it looks like it's affecting his career too.
Since Tati uploaded her video 'BYE SISTER' yesterday morning, where she explains how James hurt her and how she no longer wishes to maintain a friendship with him, James has lost over a million subscribers. OVER A MILLION.
If you check out SocialBlade, a website that is dedicated to the analytics of every channel on YouTube, you can watch his subscriber count plummet in real time and it's truly something.
On top of that, a whole slew of celebs and fellow YouTubers have unfollowed him on social media, including Kylie Jenner, Miley Cyrus, Shawn Mendes, Katy Perry, Jeffree Star, Shane Dawson, Emma Chamberlain and The Dolan Twins.
Something that Tati mentioned in her video was how James would make other men feel uncomfortable and try to hit on them regardless of their sexuality or when they expressed that they were uncomfortable. Singers Zara Larsson and Olivia O'Brien have both said that Charles slid into the DMs of both of their boyfriends.
On the flip side, Tati Westbrook has gained over a million subscribers since posting her video. Crazy how the Internet works.
